Today, board members from the Dickinson Public Schools Foundation surprised staff by awarding over $50,000 in grant awards to enrich quality education in the Dickinson Public Schools.
Congratulations to the award recipients, and a BIG thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the DPS Foundation!
Here’s a glimpse of the incredible grant awards distributed today:
- Book Break Virtual Author Visit (District Elementary and DMS) – $6,900
- iPads for English Language Learner Students (District) – $15,000
- New Microscopes for DHS – $7529
- Plasma and Smartsync torches for Welding (SWCTE) – $3,760
- Parent Fair at Legacy Square (District) – $2,500
- Elementary Career Fair (District Elementary) – $2,000
- World Drumming Teacher Training (DMS) – $2,313
- Reflex Math Fact Fluency Program (Lincoln and Jefferson) – $5,436.75
