The DPS Foundation, Inc. is proud to announce the establishment of the Carma Gerbig Scholarship, a testament to the life and legacy of a dedicated educator who spent her career inspiring students in the Dickinson Public School system. Carma Gerbig devoted her life to helping students achieve those magical “light bulb” moments—the instances when complex concepts suddenly make sense and students feel the joy of understanding.
To honor Carma’s memory and her enduring impact on education, the Gerbig family has established the Carma Gerbig Scholarship Fund. This scholarship is designed to support students who may need a little extra assistance to reach their educational goals. Whether it’s a matter of overcoming academic hurdles or accessing opportunities they might not otherwise have, the scholarship aims to empower students to achieve their dreams.
