The 2024 mystery dinner theater, “Murder at the Bachelorette Party,” was a HUGE success! It has become the Foundation’s signature event and is the #1 mystery dinner play in Dickinson. It was our 18th year of hosting a murder mystery dinner theater. Our guests enjoy a wonderful evening with friends, a great meal and try to solve the mystery.
This year’s play was written and directed by our very own, Josh Nichols. The very talented cast included: Jamie Prellwitz, Rachel Hellman, Parker Buerkle, Troy Kuntz, Todd Selle, Sarah Ramsey, Tyler Prellwitz and Kyle D’Amato. Our cast members donate their time and awesome talents. There are so many talented people in Dickinson!
It was the last party before Lydia’s wedding, a soon-to-be bride. Her friends and family were enjoying the evening when disaster struck. There was one casualty but they were able to find the killer before anyone else died.

The costume contest is always a popular item. One table is selected every evening for the best costume award. A sleuth award is also awarded each night to the person that solves the murder, who did it and why.
The Foundation profited $11,500 this year which is used to help fund our grant program to enrich education in the Dickinson Public Schools.
Next year’s mystery dinner theater play is scheduled February 13, 14 & 15, 2025. Mark your calendars!
